The driest desert of the world dominates our Norte Grande (great north zone) and offers the tourist several routes with different hardness levels.
From Calama, you can reach the mystic San Pedro de Atacama town and then you can visit some unique natural hotspots like Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley), the Tatio geysers, salt lakes and prehispanic villages that are over 4000 meters above sea level.
You can also visit the abandoned salitre mines and towns which were active until the early 20th century decades, start travelling to Perú or Bolivia passing by the huge Uyuni salt lake and the Chungará lake.
This zone’s climate conditions allow tourism all over the year without any odd.
